Yes fellas, we really are giving you permission to play with your balls! ⚾⚽

Testicular cancer is the second most common cancer (after melanoma) in Aussie males aged 20 to 39. But it can happen to men of any age, even in their teens. 😲

Your risk may be higher if someone in your family has had it, you had an undescended testicle (ball) as a baby, or you were born with hypospadias (when the urethra opens on the underside of the p***s).

Testicular cancer can't be caused by sports injuries, wearing tight clothes or having hot baths. 🛁

The ball's literally in your court. If you're aged 15 or over, a monthly ball check is the best way to catch any changes early and get treatment. 🗓️

In a warm bath or shower, check each ball by rolling it gently between your fingers and thumb. Also feel the tube at the back of your balls (epididymis) for any swelling. Healthy balls will feel firm and smooth.

You need to look out for:
🏀 a painless lump or swelling in either ball
🏀 a change in how your balls feel
🏀 an ache in your lower abdomen or groin
🏀 a sudden build-up of fluid in your sc***um (sack)
🏀 pain or discomfort in your balls or sack.

Notice something different? Stay ahead of the game and see your healthcare provider right away. 🏆

‼️Attention Dr Nooshin & Celeber Drive patients ‼️

Dr Nooshin usually works most of her days out of our Celeber Drive clinic in Andergrove but from Monday 28/07/2025, she will temporarily working full time at our Shakespeare Street clinic - we hope to have her joining back up with the Celeber Drive team full time by the end of the year.

We encourage all of her patients to attend to our Shakespeare Street clinic to continue to see her, if you can't make it over to our Shakespeare Street clinic you can book in with one of our other doctors at Celeber Drive in the mean time.

Thank you and we apologise for the inconvenience.

🌟🌟🌟Have you seen any of these beautiful smiling faces at our clinics yet? 🌟🌟🌟

Over the past 6 months we've been recruiting some amazing nursing staff. PHMC supports our nurses to build on their skills to give you the best care possible. Last month we sent them to a Wound Care training day and they had a fantastic time bonding whilst learning some valuable skills.

Hopefully you've had the opportunity to meet some of our newer nurses - Vanessa, Jess, Georgia & Tara (L - R). If you see them, say hi! 👋
