💙 Let’s talk about dementia 💙

Dementia isn’t a normal part of ageing, and it’s not just one condition. It’s a word used to describe a range of changes caused by different illnesses that affect the brain — like Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, or Lewy body dementia.

Every person’s journey with dementia is unique, but it can affect memory, mood, thinking and behaviour.

By learning more about dementia, we can better understand, support and show kindness to those living with it — and to their families and carers too. 🌸

🌸 Meet Joan 🌸
Living independently in the comfort of her own home — just as she wishes ❤️

Joan’s beloved husband served in World War II and has since passed away. While his service lives on in memory, Joan is now supported through the Department of Veterans' Affairs Community Nursing Scheme.

This is where we step in — is proud to provide up to 16+ hours of compassionate, professional care per day, helping veterans and their families find peace of mind and practical support at home.

With new changes in the My aged care space happening on the 1st November, this free webinare with Q&A's may provide an insight for those that are still unsure of what is about to change.

If you or someone you care for currently receives a Home Care Package, this free webinar is a great opportunity to learn more about the upcoming changes to aged care.

Hosted by the Department of Health and Aged Care, the session will explain how the Support at Home program (starting 1 November 2025) will work and what the transition means for existing care recipients.

There’ll also be a Q&A session so you can get any questions you may have answered directly.
