Our accredited Exercise Physiologists provide evidence based hydrotherapy sessions at any suitable pool in Mackay, making it easier and more accessible to integrate water based exercise into your training program.

Hydrotherapy can be an effective option for individuals who are:
-Recovering from injury or surgery
-Managing chronic pain or musculoskeletal conditions
-Experiencing reduced mobility or joint stiffness

BULK BILLED TYPE 2 DIABETES EXERCISE PROGRAM

If you’ve been diagnosed with T2D, you may be eligible for our bulk billed T2D Exercise Program under Medicare.

Our program is designed to help you take control of your health through safe, effective exercise and education. All led by Accredited Exercise Physiologists. What’s included:
✅ 1x initial one-on-one assessment with an Accredited Exercise Physiologist
✅ 8x Group Exercise Sessions (1hr each)
✅ Personalised exercise prescription and behaviour change guidance
✅ Ongoing self-management education to help you stay proactive
✅ Inital and final reports sent to your referring GP

Our Director and Accredited Exercise Physiologist has completed additional study to gain Diabetes Educator credentials, enabling our team to provide specialised, evidence based care for people living with T2D.

How to access the program: speak to your GP about a Referral for Group Allied Health Services under Medicare (T2D Group Services) and have it sent to Life In Motion.

Please note that this program is not for prevention, and is available only for patients already diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes.

All sessions are bulk billed through Medicare, meaning no out of pocket cost to you!

Today, our team donated and added pink to our uniforms to show support for breast cancer research and awareness.

As exercise physiologists, we see firsthand how movement can play a powerful role in both prevention and recovery. Regular physical activity not only supports overall health but can also help manage treatment side effects and improve quality of life for those living with breast cancer.

We stand with everyone affected by breast cancer, the survivors, the fighters, and the families and we’re hoping to help raise awareness and promote early detection.
