Today Francis of Assisi Home celebrated Multicultural Day, with cultural displays, food and dancing. Thank you to all staff and residents who participated. Main performances were from Kerala, India; Samoa; Fiji; Philippines and Australian Nutbush. Together we are one!

Handyman Wanted!!
Are you a skilled and reliable handyman who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude to join our dedicated team at our aged care facility.
About the Role:
As our onsite handyman, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff. Tasks will vary day-to-day and include:
* General repairs and maintenance
* Basic plumbing, carpentry, and painting
* Garden and grounds upkeep
* Assisting with equipment/furniture moves
* Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a similar role or with general property maintenance
* Friendly and respectful attitude, especially toward elderly residents
* Ability to work independently
* Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
* Trade qualifications (optional but a plus)
Perks & Flexibility:
* Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm – with some flexibility for the right candidate
* Supportive and caring team environment.
