We’re making it easier than ever to get your flu vax.

The expanded free flu vaccine program includes the Australian-first free nasal spray for children taking out much of the anxiety around the vaccination experience.

It’ll make it easier for clinicians to administer the flu vaccine and ensure more children are protected from influenza.

These are just some of the ways we’re delivering easier access to health services when you need them.

If you're due to do your bowel screening, just remember your sample needs to be kept cool. 😎

Exposure of your sample to high heat can affect your test results, and the Queensland sun is heating up. ☀️🥵

If you're aged between 50-74 years, a free bowel screening kit will be mailed to you every 2 years, when you're due to screen. If you’re outside this age range, come to Express Pharmacy Mackay to purchase a kit. The kit tests for early signs of bowel cancer, when it can be more easily treated. 🔍

Once you receive your kit and collect two tiny poo samples, it's important to put them in the zip lock bag provided and keep it in the fridge (not the freezer) before mailing it back. ✉️

It may seem a bit icky but taking a few minutes to do the test could save your life. ❤️
