Two Legends. One Big Thank You. All About You.

To celebrate you – the heart and soul of early learning – The Fraser Foundation is bringing you not one, but two free webinars as our gift for Early Educators Day. This wouldn’t be possible without support from Preschool Equipment.

✨ Nathan Wallis Thursday 4th Sept at 6.30pm – neuroscience made fun, fascinating, and seriously useful. Nathan will unpack how little brains develop and how you can harness that knowledge in your classroom (and beyond). Booking Link - https://bit.ly/FFWebinarNathan

✨ Maggie Dent Tuesday 9th Sept at 6.30pm – Australia’s queen of common sense. Maggie will guide you through powerful, practical ways to nurture resilience and wellbeing in children – while giving you the tools to look after yourself too. Booking Link - https://bit.ly/FFWebinarMaggie

These webinars are completely free, online, and open to all early childhood professionals. Think of it as a professional development hug – filling your cup with inspiration, strategies, and maybe even a few “aha!” moments.

💛 Save the Mackay Toy Library! We Need Your Help 💛

This smiling face belongs to one of the incredible women who has been keeping the Mackay Toy Library alive for years. She has dedicated her time to helping local families borrow toys, reduce waste and build community… and now she is retiring.

Without new volunteers, this much‑loved service will not survive past 2025.

I have put my hand up to volunteer just 2 hours a fortnight. If I can do that with two kids and a busy schedule, I know others can too. A couple of hours is all it takes to make sure our kids and our community do not lose this gem.

Why it matters

Toy rotation keeps play fresh and your home clutter‑free

Volunteers save money with free membership and borrowing fees

It builds connection with other local families and counts toward your CCS activity hours

It is sustainable and keeps great toys out of landfill

Even a few hours a month can keep this beautiful service alive. Shifts are flexible, child‑friendly and full of support.
