T U R N I N G F I F T Y
it’s never too late to play with new movements and introduce new ideas.
*LOAD* (weight) is the only way to build strength.
*PULLING* techniques (arms) in yoga... are non-existent. so i incorporate my own.
all this, whilst holding on dearly to what I ADORE about yoga; mindfulness, compassion and presence.
it's a beautiful balance, and one i cherish daily.
there are no rules
as long as it makes YOU feel good,
you should go for it.

N O M O R E C L A S S E S
after another restless night,
this morning I woke and felt sick to my stomach.
I asked myself what it was I REALLY needed right now...
I went downstairs,
to my new online studio space,
and lay down.
and it came to me.
the thoughts that had been there all along,
that I had so desperately tried to ignore;
this is not just a unique opportunity to pause
(that may NEVER happen again)
it’s an opportunity to turn it all off...
not to just pause, but to stop.
and stop I must.
and the weight lifted from my chest,
and the joy of immense simplicity and possibility
filled my lungs and my heart.
I could breathe again.

the struggle is real my friends...
yesterday saw me contemplate the whole idea of giving this teaching gig away.
wondering if my time would be best spent in other ways.
this self isolation, this collective discomfort sure does give rise for deep, deep contemplation.
even if I full circle back to: I am enough (such a clichè, but that’s why they’re called that, because they work!)
the ride of uncertainty is an important one to take.
to keep questioning and to be curious is so powerful.
