Our Story

EyeQ Optometrists has provided eye care for the people of Mackay region since 2002 when local Optometrist, Natalie Rokic, first established the practice. Although no longer living in Mackay, Natalie continues to have close ties with EyeQ Mackay and was key in recruiting our new team of Optometrists: Kelly Menzies, Kylie Freiberg and Ruth Stewart. All have special interest in children’s vision, having completed further study in this area, and are passionate about providing high quality eye care; between them having over 40 years experience. Kelly and Kylie are also therapeutically qualified allowing them to treat many eye conditions including eye infections. The practice prides itself on great customer service and structures its appointments to allow each optometrist sufficient time with every patient. We are also equipped with the very latest in technology helping us better detect eye diseases such as diabetes, macular degeneration and glaucoma.
