After a very busy 4 days in Brisbane, Dr Kade (Chiropractor) has completed her Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner training!

During this training, Dr Kade learnt some amazing new ways to help support pregnant women to keep their bodies moving, reduce pain and have a more comfortable pregnancy and birth

Dr Kade is excited to get back to the clinic tomorrow to start using her new knowledge and skills!

This week (20th-26th 0ctober) is the Australian Chiropractors Association’s (ACA) National WorkSpace Week. This is an annual campaign dedicated to reducing work-related musculoskeletal disorders. This year the ACA aim to encourage the topic of “Work Well Every Day” 🧑🏻‍💻

Workplace related musculoskeletal disorders can have serious long-term, debilitating effects on both the physical and mental health of injured workers. These issues may impact future employment and overall quality of life. 💻
By making simple, yet effective changes to your work station or movements performed at work, you could be saving your body a lot of unnecessary strain! ✍🏼

Follow these simple steps to keep your body thriving through the work day! 🧘‍♀️🔆
• Use an adjustable (preferably ergonomic chair)
• Sit with an upright posture, shoulders relaxed, feet flat on the floor
• Position knees slightly lower than your hips
• Adjust monitor height to eye level, and an arms distance away from where you are sitting
• Consider investing in a sit-stand desk
• Take regular postural breaks every 30 mins
