Q Fever Vaccinations Now Available!

Q Fever is an infection that can affect those in close contact with animals or through consumption of infected meat or dairy. Many people don’t show symptoms, but when they do appear, they’re similar to the common flu. Preventing Q Fever is crucial for those at risk, such as farmers, veterinarians, abattoir workers, and anyone in close contact with animals.

The best way to prevent Q Fever is vaccination. However, a pre-vaccination screening is required before vaccination, which involves a skin test and blood test to determine your immunity to the virus.
