Please Welcome our new Receptionist Mel 👋

Hi my name is Melanie but most people in the clinic know me as Mel. I started with Active Physio late last year as a receptionist on the front desk. I am a Mackay local and returned to Mackay last year after living in Weipa for 8 years. I have 3 adult children that live throughout Qld and the NT. During our downtime my husband and I like to go camping, fishing and enjoying the outdoors. I am also a qualified Personal Trainer for over 10 years, so when I not at Active, you will find my instructing group fitness classes at my home gym keeping the Mackay community fit and healthy, or attending to our cattle on our acreage just outside of Mackay.
