As we head into the festive season, we wanted to let our community know that our last day of service for 2025 will be Friday, 19 December.
We’ll be taking a short break and will reopen on Monday, 5 January 2026 with our normal operating hours.

Social Media Ban – What’s Happening?
From 10 December 2025, social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat will be off-limits for anyone under 16.
The new law means platforms must verify users’ ages — not punish young people — to help protect mental health and online safety. 💚

🎃👻 What a spooktacular Halloween! 👻🎃

Our headspace Mackay team had an amazing time at Caneland Central’s Graveyard Shift Trick or Treat event! There were plenty of jump scares, lollies, and lots of conversations about mental health and the support services we offer for young people. 💚

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our spooky setup - we loved seeing your costumes and sharing some Halloween fun! 🧡

headspace Mackay will be part of The Graveyard Shift with Caneland Central! 🎃🔮💀🧟‍♂️

Trick or Treat - free event
Date: Thursday 30th October 2025
Time: 3:30pm - 7:00pm
Start Location: Centre Court - near Myer

Collect your map from event staff, follow the trail through the Centre and record the spooky poster numbers. Return to the Graveyard to claim your Halloween goodie bag! Free Trick or Treating, no registration needed. Bags available for the first 500 kids (under the age of 16).
