What we often see in clinic is something simple and profound.

When patients truly relax, the body begins to reorganize on its own. Acupuncture isn’t about forcing change — it’s about removing interference so natural regulation can return.

In those moments there is often:

• deep stillness
• quiet, effortless wellbeing
• a sense that “nothing is happening, yet everything is right”

Healing doesn’t need to be dramatic. When interference settles, the organism remembers how to be well.

When that happens, healing doesn’t feel dramatic. It feels natural, effortless, and deeply human.

Wondering How Treatment Works Here?

A Different Way To Practice Acupuncture:

This clinic practices a form of acupuncture based on palpation and subtle‑energy assessment.
We use our hands to find where body systems are blocked and guide them back into a clear, settled state.

What We Check Each Visit

• where subtle energy is blocked
• which systems are involved
• whether they clear with treatment
• whether they are beginning to stay clear

Pain relief often follows these changes.

How Treatment Works

During your visit we palpate the abdomen, arms, and legs to identify blocked systems.
We place and adjust needles while repeatedly re‑palpating until the body releases and settles.
That change is what we are looking for each visit.

The Three Phases of Care

1. Corrective care
Systems are blocked and we are clearing them. 1 to 4 Tx twice a week
2. Stabilization care 4 to 6 Tx once a week
Systems are clearing and we are helping them hold.
3. Supportive care 1 Tx once a month
Systems are clear and we are supporting function and openness.

Visits are closer together early and naturally space out as the body stabilizes.

About Progress

With neoclassical acupuncture, change is often felt immediately.
The first sign of progress is not a slow trend, but whether blocked systems clear in the moment and the body enters a settled state during treatment.
Pain and symptoms often change quickly when systems clear. Longer‑term care is guided by whether the body can hold this clear state between visits.

Long‑Term Care

Some people stop when pain is gone.
Some continue until the body no longer reforms blockages.
Some choose periodic care because they feel and function better when systems are kept clear.
All choices are respected.
This is how care is guided in this clinic.

Taiwanese researchers discovered acupuncture triggering stem cell release healing damaged organs naturally. Scientists at China Medical University found that electroacupuncture at specific meridian points stimulates bone marrow to release mesenchymal stem cells into circulation, which then migrate to injured organs and promote tissue repair. This mechanism explains acupuncture's therapeutic effects through measurable biological processes rather than placebo.

Traditional Chinese medicine has used acupuncture for thousands of years, but Western medicine dismissed it as placebo due to lack of biological mechanism. Taiwanese researchers using advanced imaging and cellular tracking discovered that needle stimulation at specific points triggers measurable stem cell mobilization—providing the first clear biological explanation for acupuncture's effects.

Electroacupuncture (needles with mild electrical current) at ST36 (Zusanli point) and GV20 (Baihui point) causes a 300% increase in circulating stem cells within 24 hours. These mobilized stem cells express homing signals drawing them to damaged tissues—injured liver, heart, kidneys, or brain—where they differentiate into organ-specific cells and release healing factors. It's like acupuncture triggers the body's internal repair dispatch system.

Stroke patients receiving electroacupuncture within 48 hours of stroke showed 40% better functional recovery than those receiving standard care alone. Liver cirrhosis patients showed reduced fibrosis markers. Heart attack survivors demonstrated improved cardiac function. The mechanism is entirely biological—traced stem cells from bone marrow to damaged organs. Skeptical Western physicians are reconsidering acupuncture given this mechanistic evidence. We're discovering that ancient healing practices work through sophisticated biological mechanisms science is only now capable of detecting.

FAQs: How Long Does It Take to Get Someone Well?

I’m often asked by patients and other practitioners: “How many treatments does it usually take to get someone well?”

Here’s a real-time case study from just last week that I think is an amazing result.

This patient has a history of back surgery and recently undergone 16 Tung style Acupuncture sessions elsewhere (using around 30 needles with electrotherapy each time) with no improvement. She was referred to me by her doctor.
After a One-Needle Branches Treatment with sweepers in the Advanced Neoclassical Acupuncture (NCA) style, plus a short Gestalt reframe, she walked away 85% better in just 25 minutes. Two follow-up sessions, spaced 2–3 days apart, confirmed the result: by the third treatment she was completely pain-free — after years of ongoing pain.

These kinds of outcomes are not unusual after almost four years of dedicated practice in NCA.

What I’ve Learned

I focus on treating the NCA pattern, not just chasing symptoms.

About 10% of patients don’t respond — and if there’s no improvement after 5 treatments, I’ll refer them on to another modality.

Around 10% get better after just one treatment.

For most patients, seeing them twice a week for two weeks has made a huge difference in outcomes.

Final Thought

While not every case resolves this quickly, Neoclassical Acupuncture continues to surprise me with the depth and speed of healing it can unlock when we work with the body’s blueprint rather than just the surface symptoms.

If you’ve been living with pain that won’t shift, there is another way forward. 💚
