Hey Mackay,
We are lucky enough to welcome Leanne to come and hang out with us for a couple of weeks. If you need eye tests, or have problems with hend eye coordination give her a call and see if she can help with an eye exam or a free perception test.
Give her a call and make an appointment while shes still got availability.

If your looking for something to do today pop onto our disability service hub. It's free from 10am to 1pm, come hang out at 91 victoria st. Come let your inner artist run free, play some pool or some board games, socialise and make some new friends.

Thank-you all that came along to our open day. It was fantastic. A big shout out to Justine from Carlie's Fascinating Faces Face Painting Mackay for the awesome glitter tattoos ( and Matt for helping with the BBQ), Andrew Willcox MP and Mayor Greg Williamson for coming to see what we do, Karen from MAD Animal Addiction for the fun petting Zoo and Hannah from Mackay and Whitsunday Life for covering the event. That Place is founded by families of people with disabilities FOR families of people with disabilities. Without your support we could not be where we are. It has been a long journey so far and we look forward to the future

Full disclosure: unfortunately we don't have a wheelchair accessible bathroom yet, our toilets are upstairs.
