Casual Drug & Alcohol Testing Technician

📍 Mackay & Bowen Basin | Casual Position

CQ Rescue Drug Testing is seeking a Casual Drug and Alcohol Testing Technician to perform onsite testing across the Mackay and Bowen Basin regions.

This role offers approximately 6–12 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours as required.

Key Requirements:
🔹Unrestricted Queensland Driver’s
🔹Licence
🔹High level of accountability, accuracy and efficiency
🔹Excellent communication and analytical skills
🔹Ability to regularly be away from home

What CQ Rescue Drug Testing Will Provide:
🔹Drug and alcohol testing training
🔹Coal Board Medical & Standard 11
🔹Accommodation and relevant meals
🔹Uniforms including PPE
🔹Access to a work vehicle for travel to and from sites (for Mackay-based staff)

- Open 8:30am - 12 noon & 1pm - 5pm Monday - Thursday
- 8:30am - 12 noon & 1pm - 3:30pm Friday
• On-site workplace testing across Mackay and the Bowen Basin

Our service is located at 16 Mike Jones Street, South Mackay right next to the airport. We have a tester onsite ready to test you with no appointment necessary between 8:30am - 12noon & 1pm - 5pm Monday - Friday.

From inter-hospital transfers to search and rescue and emergency responses, we were there whenever and wherever our community needed us.
