Do you have wrist pain following a fall on an out-stretched hand (otherwise referred to as FOOSH)? Seek medical attention quickly for a careful examination of the hand and wrist. These types of injury may lead to a scaphoid (one of the small wrist bones) fracture. A fracture to this bone becomes complicated if the blood supply to the bone is cut off. So it’s best to get checked out sooner rather than later!
Most of the time we can help get you back to full function in the weeks that follow.

How Osteopathy Can Help with Headaches & Jaw (TMJ) Pain
Do you often wake up with a sore jaw, tight neck, or tension headaches that just won’t go away?
It might not just be stress — your jaw alignment, posture, or muscle tension could be playing a big part.
Osteopathic treatment takes a whole-body approach to find the root cause of your discomfort — not just the symptoms.
Our gentle techniques can help:

✅ Release tension in the jaw, neck, and shoulders
✅ Improve blood flow and nerve function
✅ Relieve pressure contributing to headaches
✅ Restore natural balance and movement

Many patients notice relief after just a few sessions and enjoy better sleep, less clenching, and fewer headaches.

If you’ve been putting up with jaw pain or tension headaches, it might be time to see what osteopathy can do for you.

Posture Check!
Be honest — are you sitting straight right now?
Slouching at your desk or couch might seem harmless, but poor posture over time can lead to:
✅ Neck and shoulder tension
✅ Lower back pain
✅ Headaches
✅ Reduced mobility
Here are 3 quick tips to improve your posture today:
* Feet flat on the floor – Keep your knees at 90 degrees, don’t cross your legs.
* Screen at eye level – Looking down strains your neck. Elevate that laptop or monitor.
* Take movement breaks – Every 30-45 minutes, stand up and stretch for a minute or two.

This Month is National Safe Work Month, the theme this year is every job, every day. encourages all workplaces – regardless of occupation, industry, location, and size – to prioritise safety every day. Practicing safety: every job, every day means we can reduce the rate of fatalities, serious injuries and illnesses in our workplaces, and ensure that everyone gets home safely from work.

To help you make safety: every job, every day a reality, we’ll be stepping through the risk management process throughout National Safe Work Month. This week, we’re starting with identifying hazards – finding things and situations that could potentially cause harm to people. Harm can be physical, psychological or both.

From inspecting the workplace to reviewing data to consulting your workers, there are many ways you can identify hazards. Learn more about identifying hazards with our practical resources in the National Safe Work Month activity kit.
