Could it be type 1 diabetes?

Type 1 diabetes can develop at any age, and the early signs are often missed. This National Diabetes Week, we're helping raise awareness of the 4Ts:

Toilet – going more often

Thirsty – not able to quench thirst

Tired – more than usual

Thinner – sudden or unexplained weight loss

If you or someone you know is experiencing any of these symptoms, speak to your GP. Early diagnosis can be life changing.

We’re proud to support and their campaign during . Awareness saves lives.

Barbie’s evolution reflects society’s growing understanding of inclusion, empowerment, and diversity. From space suits to insulin pumps, Barbie keeps telling kids, “You can be anything.”

Barbie has always been more than a doll — she’s been a symbol of possibility.

Now, in 2025, we welcome one of the most powerful representations yet: Barbie with Type 1 Diabetes.

Wearing a CGM and insulin pump, she reflects the strength, resilience, and brilliance of children living with T1D — helping them see that their journey is powerful, their tech is empowering, and their future is limitless.

Thank you , , and for showing kids globally that they are capable of anything.

It’s a Barbie world… and we are here for it 💙

Welcome to the community, Barbie!
We’re beyond excited to see a Barbie doll proudly wearing a CGM and insulin pump – showing children everywhere that type 1 diabetes doesn’t hold you back from living a vibrant, bold, and brilliant life.

This is more than a doll — it’s a powerful message of inclusion and empowerment for children living with T1D. Because representation matters.

Thanks to and for creating something truly meaningful.

""Not only is he fine… he’s thriving.""

Living with type 1 diabetes can come with unspoken worries, especially from those who love you most.

But for Paddy, those concerns have shifted. Now, it’s not “Is he OK?”—it’s “He’s feeling amazing.”

Paid Partnership.
