| NORMALITY |

Very suddenly, it has an entirely different definition. Or maybe none at all! We’re still figuring it all out. Feelings of uncertainty, anxiety and unease.

I’m trying to find small ways to put some normality and familiarity into my day. I feel like this helps me to feel secure, safe and grounded. This morning, it was up at the normal time I’d go to the gym and a workout in my living room. Then the diffuser went on with 3 drops Balance (grounding) and 3 drops Clary Sage (reduce cortisol levels).

Love to hear what small things you’re all doing to help keep some normality and familiarity in your lives! 💗💗💗

Hey guys!

So doTERRA are working really hard to get stock back of 15ml On Guard. In the mean time... here is a little DIY On Guard recipe (won’t be exact- because it’s a proprietary blend and we don’t know the precise amounts of each. But it’s close). Also... please be mindful that this DIY version CAN NOT be used internally like our On Guard blend can (Unless you omit the eucalyptus). On Guard blend has a different subspecies of eucalyptus in it (Eucalyptus globulous) whereas our singular Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus radiata) isn’t safe to ingest.

OREGANO - a powerhouse oil!

Let us know if YOU have a way to use it (make sure to dilute as oregano is HOT HOT HOT!!!)...

🌿Chest colds – just mix a couple of drops of oregano oil with a carrier oil like coconut and rub it on your chest...

You can also put 5 drops of oregano in a capsule and take it internally to help reduce the symptoms from colds and flus

🌿Did you know that oregano is a natural pesticide? Mix it with some water in a spray bottle and spray in your gardens to safely keep those insects away. Great for the veggie garden!

🌿Oregano is another great solution for reducing the pain from toothaches! DILUTE IN COCONUT OIL!

🌿Because oregano oil is what is called a “hot” oil, it works really well on plantars warts. If you have sensitive skin, try it first with a carrier oil like coconut or dab carefully undiluted onto the wart but no other part of the skin.

🌿Same thing goes for skin tags! Oregano works awesome in just a few applications. Put a drop or two on a Q-Tip and apply directly to the skin tag – repeat it every day until the skin tag falls off.

🌿Oregano is also awesome in the diffuser to help battle respiratory issues. A couple of drops in the diffuser is enough!

🌿Oregano oil is a must-have for women. Drinking ginger tea or chamomile tea with a couple of drops added can help to regulate menstrual cycles – Wait, there is more! Got cramps? Try mixing a few drops with a carrier oil and rubbing it directly on your lower abdomen.

🌿Spaghetti sauce. Trust me. Just try it! One drop of oregano oil in a huge pot of homemade spaghetti sauce is all you need!

🌿HAND SANITIZER! Yes, oregano oil is a great natural sanitizer. Just a diluted drop on your palms and rub together.

DIY Hand Sanitiser

Personally, I'm not buying into the media hype....there is a lot of misrepresented information circulating that is being taken out of perspective. I do, however, appreciate that it can be scary and that you want to be cautious and informed. Especially for people who may be immune-compromised or vulnerable.

Let's remember though... there is SO MUCH we can do to support our immune systems so that they can fire as optimally as possible. The human body is a pretty amazing thing.

In terms of hand sanitising, first choice should always be WASHING (where possible)! Twenty seconds under soapy warm water (enter On Guard foaming hand wash). Second best option (mainly for an on-the-go option) is doTERRA's On Guard sanitising mist. It's seriously the best! And also meets World Health Organisation requirements. However, they are out of stock of this at the moment, so I wanted to share this DIY recipe that you can make from home with your beautiful plant-based products.

GENTLE ALCOHOL-FREE FORMULA
30ml spray bottle
20 drops On Guard essential oil
2 teaspoons witch hazel (or aloe vera gel)
Top with water and shake

ALCOHOL-BASED FORMULA
30ml spray bottle
2 parts alcohol (plant-derived optimally)
1 part aloe vera gel
20 drops On Guard essential oil
This should fill the bottle. Shake.

Boost your immune system while killing all the yucky things. These are so easy and affordable to make. AND! The shops are not out of stock of paper towels (yet 😬) !!

Toxic chemicals may kill germs... but guess what. They also kill a whole lot of GOOD stuff in our bodies, disrupt our hormones and our natural microbiome as well as cause allergies to flare up. This is why I discourage people from using antibacterial hand sanitizer.

AUTOMATIC DESCRIPTION:
Minty, hot, fresh, and airy

INGREDIENTS: Laurel Leaf, Eucalyptus Leaf, Peppermint Plant, Melaleuca Leaf, Lemon Peel, Cardamom Seed, Ravintsara Leaf, Ravensara Leaf essential oils

BENEFITS:
* Feel clear and calm when breathing.
* Ideal to be applied before a restful night's sleep.
* Equipped for seasonal threats.

USES:
* Diffuse; inhale directly from palms, or rub on chest or feet when environmental threats are high.
* Use when outdoors at times of seasonal threats.
*Diffuse at bedtime for a restful night's sleep.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
* Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of choice.

PEPPERMINT MOUSSE
Servings:2–4
Prep Time:5 Minutes
Cook Time:12 Minutes
Difficulty:Easy

Ingredients:

¼ cup milk chocolate chips
¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 ¾ cups heavy cream (separated)
2 drops Peppermint oil
3 tablespoons granulated sugar½ teaspoon vanilla

Instructions:

Combine chips and ½ cup heavy cream in bowl, and melt in the microwave for 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.Whip the remaining heavy cream with 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, ½ teaspoon vanilla, and 2 drops Peppermint oil. Once peaks are formed, fold in chocolate mixture. Serve immediately, or refrigerate.

DAY SEVEN: PEPPERMINT OIL

FUN FACT: Peppermint is a cross of watermint and the milder-flavored spearmint, and was first described by Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus in the 18th Century.

BENEFITS:

USES:

* Place one drop in palm of hand with one drop Wild Orange and one drop Frankincense and inhale for a mid-day pick-me-up.

FUN FACT: Found in the Mediterranean, throughout many parts of Europe, and in South and Central Asia, medicinal grade oregano is distilled to extract the essential oil from the herb, which is where a high concentration of the herb’s active constituents are found.
