Please note that Highland Medical Centre will be closed from Wednesday 25th December and will reopen on Monday 30th December.
We kindly ask patients to check their medication levels and contact us as soon as possible if you require a prescription renewal before the closure, as appointments are limited.

To ensure we can bill your appointment or telehealth consult to Medicare, the patient must be present for the consultation — this includes appointments made for children.
Whether you're joining us in person or via telehealth, having the patient there helps us provide the best care and ensures Medicare requirements are met.

You now have a choice when it comes to cervical screening! 🌸
The self-collection option means you can collect your sample yourself, in private, and it’s just as accurate as a clinician test.

Talk to your doctor or nurse about what option feels best for you — what matters most is that you get screened regularly. Empower yourself with information and take the test that feels right for you.

As we approach the end of the year, now is the perfect time to make sure you’ve used all your allocated Allied Health visits for this year under your current care plan — and you’ll be eligible for five new visits in the new year.

Our Allied Health team — Nancy, Telisha, Diana, and Greg — all have availability between now and the end of the year and are ready to support you with your health goals.

Highland Medical Centre will no longer be open on Sundays after November 23rd. This has been a difficult decision, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience it may cause.

We want to reassure you that we will still be open for the next two Sundays — November 16th and November 23rd — so patients have the opportunity to book a weekend appointment if needed.
