That's why it's so important to not only identify where your stress is coming from but to also address it!

During stress & anxiety the body & mind adapt in an attempt to maintain health & balance. Overtime this constant adaption WILL contribute to chronic disease.

Period cramps or a Heart attack? The pain is the same!

So new research has come out to prove something around 80% of women already know......that menstrual cramps ARE PAINFUL! Just as painful, apparently, as a heart attack.

And whilst period pain is super common, it's not normal, nor is it something you need to put up with every month.

Don't ignore your bodies signs 🛑

Especially when it comes to signals & signs that the Nervous System needs some love & attention.

I'd say that the Nervous System is the most important system in the body. It controls much of what we think, feel & what the body does.

Put very simply the nervous system takes in information from our senses, processes this information & triggers chemical & physical reactions to this stimuli.

When the Nervous System becomes dysregulated though it will cause us to respond (thoughts, behaviours & feelings) in an inappropriate/disproportional way - either by under or over reacting to an event, situation or person, this is often caused by unresolved or unfinished stress response.

If a dysregulated nervous system is left unchecked & unresolved it can lead to 👇

😞 Depression
😵‍💫 Anxiety
🤯 ADHD
😖 OCD
🤥 Poor memory & concentration
😷 Addictions
🥵 Exhaustion
😫 Chronic pain

🤤You have to try this Persian Love Cake recipe 👇

Given the thumbs up from multiple of my Persian friends this recipe is actually super easy & delicious.

Try it out & let me know what you think.

Ingredients

- 3 cups of Almond Flour
- 3 organic eggs
- 1/2 cup of ghee
- 1 shot of Austrian Stroh
- 1/2 cup of maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon of mixed spice mix
- 1 tablespoon of rose water
- 1 tablespoon of cardamom water
- 1/2 cup of organic yoghurt
- 1/4 cup of slivered pistachios

Syrup
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 1/3 cup of orange juice
- 2 tablespoons of rose water
- 1/2 teaspoon of crushed saffron
- top with slivered pistachio & edible rose petals.

Method

1. Mix all dry Ingredients in a bowl
2. Beat the eggs & add all wet ingredients
3. Add wet ingredients to dry & mix
4. Pour into lined cake tin
5. Bake for 45 minutes until cooked

Whilst cake is cooking

6. On stove top add the honey & orange juice until the honey is melted thru then add the rose water & saffron
7. Once cake is cooked & still warm pour over the syrup
8. Add the silvered pistachios & rose petals.
9. Serve with cream, ice cream or Persian chia tea.
10. Enjoy 😊

Anxiety is probably the most common symptom I see in my clinic 😔

With 1 in 6 Aussies being affected (I suspect this number is actually more like 1:3) mental health issues has almost become another pandemic!

Suffering with anxiety can be really difficult as it's a hidden dis-ease, with the stigma of "it's just in your head"!

It can leave you feeling paralyzed & if you're not aware of your triggers then it'll create a huge amount of fear not knowing when the next worried or intrusive thought might pop into your head.
