A couple of months ago, I took a leap of faith and decided to start a womenโ€™s support group specifically for the African community. This weekend was truly transformative. I had the profound honor of fulfilling my calling to serve in a community where conversations about mental health are often overshadowed by stigma and prejudice.

I am deeply grateful for the support of two amazing organizations that helped turn this vision into reality. In a peaceful and non-judgmental space, we gathered as sisters to share our stories, laugh, and shed tears. It was a beautiful reminder of our strength, resilience, and the power of connection.

This experience is just the beginning. Together, we have the power to combat mental health stigma and create a supportive environment where every voice is heard. I am inspired by the connections we made and our shared commitment to uplift one another. Letโ€™s continue this journey together, knowing that we can make a difference and hold each otherโ€™s hands along the way.
