Our incredible volunteer Nato went above and beyond for WeCare Connects "Christmas in July" event. For weeks, she went out of her comfort zone and bravely approached local businesses, securing fantastic donations for their raffles. We're beyond proud of her dedication and all the generous support that made it a truly great night for a great cause!

Our weekly "Creative Crew," has been absolutely blooming these past few weeks! 🌸 We've been having a blast with flower crown workshops, expertly led by the newest star on our support team, Veronica. She's not just an incredible support worker, but also the talent behind Frost Flowers Newcastle!
The first week, everyone mastered the basics with beautiful fake flowers. Then, things got a little more intricate (and gorgeous!) as they moved onto delicate baby's breath. As you can see, the flower crown craze has even taken over the office 😂
So much fun and creativity from this amazing crew!

Dylan recently managed to find a break in the weather and headed off to Forster for a fun getaway. He and Brady enjoyed some pub meals and a bit of home cooking, some great fishing, explored the shops and the markets. There was also time to relax with some gaming. ☀️ 🎣 🎮

Community Access during 1:1 support enables participants to enjoy holidays and visit new areas that they may not be able to get to without support. They also receive support and encouragement to try new activities, meet new people, and push themselves when working towards their goals. Catered Supports is a Registered NDIS Disability Support Provider based in Maitland NSW. We provided 1:1 and group support to individuals with the goal to live independently in the home and community of their choosing. Meet Reilly and Anxiety from Inside Out 2. Steph & Sam made their way to Sydney Olympic Park for Supanova. While walking around the different stalls, Steph found an Inside Out 2 jumper! They enjoyed the sunshine and a pizza break before they heard the famous Scooby Doo voice 🐾🍕
