Five years ago, this journey into being a Loctician started with a mannequin head, questionable tension, and a whole lot of “oh my god, why isn't this working?"
I had no muscle memory. No rhythm. Just a stubborn determination mixed with the kind of passion that made me keep going even when my hands were cramping and the result isn’t quite matching the vision in my head yet.
Fast forward to now, and I’m creating installs like the one on the right. This is the result of time, repetition, mistakes, re-doing things a hundred different ways, and refusing to stop learning.
And the thing is, I’m still learning.
Skill growth doesn’t hit a finish line. Every single client teaches me something new, every set sharpens my technique, and every refinement I make directly benefits the people who sit in my chair.
It’s wild looking back at that first mannequin and realising she walked so my current work could absolutely strut.
This is your reminder that everyone starts somewhere. By choosing a loctician who invests in their craft means you’re investing in your own hair too.
If you’ve been thinking about starting your journey, refreshing your existing set, or finally committing to something that feels like you, my books are open.
