🎨 Term 3 Studio Classes resume this week at Nature and Nurture🌿
From toddler-friendly Little Makers and Art Playgroup (not starting until next week), to creative after-school art sessions for school-aged children, teens and homeschoolers—our Maitland studio is buzzing with artful energy!

We also run school-based art programs at HVGS and Linuwel, offering sensory art, nature craft and hands-on making experiences right on campus.

Sensory Art is where creativity meets play — a joyful, hands-on class designed to spark imagination and support early development through sensory-rich experiences.

For Term 3, our topic is “Let the Adventures Begin!” Each week, children will explore a themed adventure using a different mode of transport — from hot air balloons to boats — collecting passport stamps as they “travel” through art and play.

Our 60-minute class is thoughtfully split into three engaging parts:

🎨 Creative Art Play – Children create their own unique artwork to take home each week, using materials in new and imaginative ways.
🖐️ Sensory Discovery Play – A chance to squish, splash, squeeze, and explore a variety of textures and smells, stimulating all five senses.
🌿 Nature-Based Art Play – Connecting with nature through open-ended activities like making flower crowns, stick people, or painting with natural materials.

Sensory Art helps build cognitive skills, fine motor strength, creativity, and curiosity — all while having fun!

✨ Term 3 starts July 31 we have a class on Thursdays at 9.30am and a new class starting up on Fridays at 11am!

Little Makers is a 60-minute creative session designed especially for curious minds aged 2–5 years. Each week, little artists are invited to explore a mix of gently guided and open-ended art experiences that nurture imagination, spark self-expression, and build important skills like problem-solving and critical thinking — all through access to high-quality art materials.

✨ Bookings now open for Term 3! This term our focus will be on little artists being inspired by well known artists.

A reminder that the after school art program at Linuwel starts this week from 22nd of July.

HVGS families: your program resumes the week starting July 28th.

All Art Studio classes start back next week from 28/7 however there are two make up classes for Youth Art this Tuesday and Friday for those who had their class cancelled due to the floods in Term 2.

🎨🧱 What a fun and creative day yesterday at Nature & Nurture!✨ The kids kicked off the day with LEGO play, building and painting their own colourful LEGO prints…🎮 Then after lunch, it was all things Minecraft — crafting cardboard villages, characters, and epic landscapes!💥 Our school holiday workshops continue today and tomorrow — and Term 3 classes are now open for enrolment!👉 Book now via www.natureandnurturensw.com.au we would love to welcome new families!

It’s the first day of the school holidays for many, do you need something planned for the children? We have school holiday workshops at our Nature and Nurture Art Studio in Maitland.

Wednesday we have a Lego and Minecraft Art Day, Thursday we have Movie themed Art and Friday afternoon a Dance Art workshop (our morning paint session has sold out!)
