We’re so proud to be teaming up with Upstage Youth Theatre this Easter to host a special immersive art experience alongside their performance of Big Bad Wolf at beautiful Tocal Homestead.

After enjoying the show, children can step into the forest with Nature & Nurture through a hands-on creative workshop inspired by the performance. Young creators will have the chance to design woodland masks, build miniature forest worlds, and contribute to a collaborative mural — extending the magic of the story through art, imagination and play.

It’s a beautiful way to make a day of it these school holidays — theatre, creativity and the stunning grounds of Tocal to explore.

Ticket prices:
Adults: $25
Children: $45 — includes both the performance and immersive art experience
Family of 4: $120

We’ve created a beautiful series of hands-on workshops and creative day camps for children and teens these school holidays — designed to inspire imagination, build skills and nurture a love of making.

🧶 Finger Knitting & Braiding

A calming, creative session exploring fibres, textures and simple techniques to create cords, bracelets and woven pieces.

🧵 Wet Felting Workshop
🗓 Tues 7 April | 1:30–3:30pm
A tactile workshop for tweens and teens to explore the magic of transforming soft fibres into felted creations.

🐉 Myth & Folklore: Design Your Own Creature Day Camp

An immersive creative day inspired by myths and legends, where participants design and bring their own unique creatures to life.

🍂 Autumn Clay Workshop

Enrolments are now open for Term 2 at Nature & Nurture. Our classes and playgroups are designed to nurture creativity, connection and joyful learning across two beautiful locations in Maitland and Lovedale.

With places capped in each group, early enrolment is recommended to secure your preferred day and time.

Our playgroups are available as either an 8-week term enrolment ($25 a class - $200 a term) or a Casual Pass $35 a visit.
