🌿 Playgroups
Our 90-minute art and sensory playgroups continue across Maitland and Lovedale. If you need to arrange a make-up session, please call 0403 390 227 (rather than message) as we may be teaching so socials may go unmonitored.

🍃 Nature School – Casual Visits Available
Homeschoolers are welcome to join a 9am–12pm outdoor session and experience our hands-on nature program.

🌸 Saturday Sessions Continue!
Creative weekend workshops at Leaves & Fishes — perfect for families looking to add a little art and nature to their Saturdays for the kids.

We are so excited to share that we’re the Maitland franchise owners for BK Gymnastics, opening Term 1, 2026! 🎉🤸‍♂️
Running in the afternoons after GymbaROO, our brand-new program will offer a fun, supportive and movement-rich space for local kids — and we’re building an amazing team to bring it to life.

We’re looking for enthusiastic Gymnastics Coaches and Junior Coaches who are passionate about working with children, creating confidence-building experiences, and helping little movers learn new skills in a positive environment.

🌿 Week 6 at Nature & Nurture!
Our playgroups are continuing — and this is your last chance to grab a 4-Week Flexi Pass for $120 (+ card surcharge). As we don’t offer single-visit passes for playgroups, the Flexi Pass is the perfect way to join us for the rest of term.

For little makers walking to 5 years, our 90-minute Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday playgroups weave together art, sensory play, movement and storytime — a beautiful way to explore, create and grow together.

Please call 0403 390 227 to arrange a make-up visit (rather than messaging via social media, as we may be teaching).

What’s On at Nature & Nurture – Week 5 🌿

Playgroups are continuing! It’s not too late to grab a
4-Week Flexi Pass for $120 plus card surcharge ($30 per session).

Wednesday’s Read & Create Playgroup is cancelled just for this week as Renee is in Melbourne for a GymbaROO meeting.

For little makers walking to 5 years, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday’s 90-minute playgroup sessions blend art, sensory play, movement & storytime — a beautiful way to explore, create and grow together.
📞 Call 0403 390 227 if you need to change your playgroup session and book in a make up playgroup attendance.

Topics for the coming week!
🌿 Youth Art:
We’ll be creating clay bowls using leaf prints — once dried, the children can paint them for a lovely potential Christmas gift.

💧 Sensory Art:-Wonderful Water
• Sensory Play: Water beads play
• Art: Bubble wrap paintings and ocean collages

🐥 Read and Create Playgroup: cancelled just for this week as Renee is in Melbourne for a GymbaROO meeting

🎨 Outdoor Art Playgroup:
Roller paintings in the butterfly house, God’s eyes weaving using sticks and wool, a rock and gem sensory bin, cardboard box painting in the potting shed, and in the mud kitchen -cake making.

🐛 Nature School:
Exploring worms and bugs — especially exciting with the arrival of our new beehive from the Humble Hive Collective on Tuesday!

Year-End Reflection & Celebration Workshop
An afternoon of journaling, art, meditation & movement — a perfect pause before the festive rush. Includes afternoon tea & a glass of wine. 💛

We are looking forward to seeing those coming to our Outdoor Art Playgroup this morning!

Each 90-minute session weaves together art, sensory play, movement, and nature play in our nurturing Secret Garden space at Leaves & Fishes. From sensory play to nature-inspired creations, every week invites curiosity, creativity, and wonder. ✨

👣 Ages: Walking to 5 years (babes in arms free)
🗓️ When: Tuesdays & Fridays, 9:30–11:00am
