Do you have arthritis, mobility issues or joint pain? This course is designed to help you regain freer movements, more flexibility, better balance and to help calm the mind. Tai Chi is recommended by Arthritis Australia as a gentle and safe exercise.

Maitland Wellness Centre will be starting their last Tai Chi course for this year, Thursday 16 October. Classes go for 60 minutes and start at 9:30 am.

The key to Tai Chi as a way to reduce stress is letting your mind focus on the practice. The physical movement will help to keep you moving, but the element of mindfulness is something you can take with you throughout the day. Tai Chi provides a soothing, dynamic outlet if you need to calm your mind, move your body, and bring some balance into your daily life.

Our Story

Maitland Wellness Centre is an Acupuncture and Massage clinic with 8 therapists, established over 15 years ago by Bjorn Mella. We are open six days a week for both Acupuncture and Massage treatments. We have fully qualified acupuncturists, herbalists and massage therapists and offer a number of different services that can be modified to suit your condition. Most of our therapists are fully registered with professional associations, patients can claim their treatments on most private health insurance. For your convenience we can process on the spot rebates for most of the major private health insurance providers.
