🌿 Hi everyone!

I’m Dee, the person behind Bloom Thrive Grow.

I’m based in Maitland and have 19 years’ experience in Disabilities and Mental health, along with both lived and hands-on experience supporting people and families through the NDIS.

I’ve created Bloom Thrive Grow because I wanted to do things a little differently — less transactional.. I wanted to create something different — support that actually feels human, more about real connection, consistency, and genuinely walking alongside people.

💛 I support with things like:
• Daily living & routines
• Community access
• Building confidence & life skills
• Social connection
• Tailored supports based on what actually matters to the person

I really value getting to know the person properly, building trust, and creating a space where people feel comfortable, supported, and empowered to grow at their own pace.

🌱 I currently have availability for new participants around Maitland and nearby areas, with some flexibility during the week.

We recently learned that our son is dyslexic.
It doesn’t change who he is — it helps us understand how he learns.
Dyslexia isn’t a lack of intelligence; it’s a different way of processing the world.

✨ Courses Coming in 2026 ✨

I’m excited to share that Bloom, Thrive, Grow will be launching a series of online courses this year for independent support workers 🌱

These courses are designed for:
• New support workers starting out
• Experienced workers wanting to refresh their knowledge
• Anyone wanting to work ethically, confidently, and within NDIS expectations

With over 18 years of hands-on experience, these courses will focus on real-life practice — not just theory — covering things like setting up correctly, understanding responsibilities, boundaries, documentation, and delivering quality, person-centred support.
