Thats right, our wonderful receptionist Sarah has gone on a well deserved holiday for 2 weeks!

So in her place we have the delightful Julie!
Julie comes to us from a different reception background so she is learning the medical ropes with us!

It is getting busy!
As expected Dr Jess is now quite busy with routine availability pushing out past 1 week!

So to avoid disappointed we suggest calling at least a week in advance for routine appointments.

Dr Jess keeps a few appointments spare on the day for urgent visits, but you will need to ring at 9am each day as they fill up quickly!

UPDATE:
We are holding the first session this Thursday. If need be we will hold another one in July so get in touch if you are interested!

We are holding a Qfever testing and vaccine clinic. Please don't hesitate to call the clinic for further information and pass on our details to anyone else whom might be interested!

Unfortunately we are not superhuman!
We have all been unwell here at Malanda Family Health!
Dr Jess and kids remain unwell so Dr Jess is doing what she can from home today!

The amazing Sarah will be on reception today and everyone booked in today will be contacted! Dr Jess is planning to be back on deck for the rest of the week!

We don't want to spread this bug to everyone else as it's a nasty one so I hope you all understand and sorry for the inconvenience!

Upcoming opening hours!.
In light of the multiple public holidays coming up, this is when we will be open!

We are closed all of the public holidays. This includes:
Good Friday
Easter Monday
Anzac day Friday 25th April,
Labour day Monday 5th May

We are open our usual days otherwise with 1 exception
Given the short week next week the clinic will be open Wednesday 23rd of April!

So feel free to ring and book.

It's flu vaccine season!

The Qld government is once again funding vaccines for anyone who would like them from 6 months of age

Our vaccine stock for those of you aged over 65 has arrived with the rest coming in the next 2 weeks

So give us a call and we will get you in!
All vaccine only consults will be bulk billed!

Dr Jess will also discuss other vaccines you might be eligible for as well which includes shingles and pneumonia!

So those of you willing roll up your sleeves!
