Recently I was excited that I had met someone I thought may have been my love and long-term partner and while it was not meant to be, I was a little ashamed at the lack of mastery I had around communication when I felt attacked or accused. It has me super-committed to setting better boundaries, improving communication and holding a space for someone’s upset when my scolded child and my protective ego is at play.
