I don’t workout before breakfast either.
The reason is that when sunlight from sunrise enters the eyes the cortisol awakening response turns on a multitude of metabolic functions in the body.
30 minutes after this the gut becomes highly permeable to fats and proteins.
The optimal time of the day to load up with fats and proteins is at breakfast after watching the sunrise and grounding.
I don’t workout before breakfast because it hyper elevates cortisol.
I also block artificial light before sunrise as I don’t want to interfere with the body’s natural cortisol awakening response.
Having this habit of loading in the morning gives the body sustained energy throughout the day and cortisol naturally reduces throughout the day.

The key weight loss is Leptin.
Leptin is a circadian hormone that helps to regulate appetite and hunger.
Leptin resistance is the link that leads to overeating and weight gain.
Signs of Leptin resistance:
🍎Constant hunger & snacking, craving carbohydrates and sugars.
🍎 Carrying excess body fat, more than 10kg overweight.
🍎 Poor sleep.
🍎 Elevated Thyroid reverse T3 Hormone

Hey friends!
My name is Stacey, I’m a mother of two who loves exploring natural ways of living! I am also a Nature Lover and Meditator as well as a Nutritionist and Educator. I have spent over 2 decades teaching Science and Nutrition to both primary and high school students.
I have been health conscious for the majority of my life and I have also spent many years in India learning the art of meditation. Even though I was doing all the “right things” for my health, I still struggled with my nervous system in overdrive, hormonal imbalances and poor sleep. Eventually I took a deep dive into Circadian & Quantum Biology and made wholesome changes to my lifestyle and diet. By following the laws of nature, eating seasonally and following a low inflammatory diet I began to feel more grounded, balanced and vibrant.
This has become my passion! I want to empower women to make the necessary changes for their health and their families’ health by making simple dietary and lifestyle changes.
My goal with creating this page is for you to learn some simple wellness tools that I use for myself and my family, so that you will be confident to manage your own health.

Grounding at Sunrise.

There’s a reason you feel different after being by the sea.
Not just relaxed but clearer, lighter, calmer.

When you step into the ocean, your body reconnects with the Earth’s natural electrical field.
The Earth holds a gentle negative charge, and salt water rich in sodium, magnesium, potassium and chloride is one of the best conductors of it.

This is where the healing journey begins. Yes sunrise, but there is more to it than just getting your circadian signaling in tune. It’s to do with grounding. Standing on this beach in El Salvador with the black volcanic sand provides the best environment for grounding. At dawn ions from the ocean flow, standing barefoot on this sand allows the free electrons to move into the body to reverse inflammation from years of chronic stress. Only after one week my aches and pains are reducing and my sleep is improving. No supplements, no drugs just nature and being in rhythm with her. I’m inspired for the year ahead, I hope you are too.
