DISNEY WONDER - Maiden voyage to Eden this Sunday!!

On Sunday 7 January we welcome Disney Wonder (Magical Cruise Co) on the maiden visit to Eden.

This is a 3-day cruise departing Sydney on 5 January, visiting Eden as the only port of call and to returning to Sydney on 8 January.

Disney Wonder will arrive at 8:00am with 2800 passengers and 945 crew and will depart at 12:15pm.

On Disney Wonder it is usually the case that at least a third of the passengers are under the age of 17.

Although this is an early and short visit on a Sunday, we appreciate those businesses that are able to open early to accommodate the morning cruise call.

A lot of guests do choose to stay onboard as there is lots to see and do on the ship, especially when it is such a short cruise. We also note that whilst in port there are no shows, retail operations, casino and Disney characters appearances on board the ship, so this does encourage guests to visit the port for the short time they are here.

In addition to the six town shuttle buses that will stop in the main street and Aslings Beach there are 79 guests booked on Shore Excursion tours.

The Eden Chamber Street Markets will operate along Imlay Street and of course the Cruise Eden markets at the Eden Welcome Centre.

We hope you enjoy having Disney Wonder in town for the first time, make sure you listen out for the Disney theme song instead of the normal horn sound at the end of the day.
