Influenza vaccinations for the 2025 season are now available. Influenza vaccinations are provided at no cost to eligible populations, including people aged 65 years and over, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, pregnant women, and at-risk individuals over 6 months of age. If you are unsure about your eligibility, please contact Malmsbury Pharmacy at 5423 2226 to consult with our pharmacy staff. Note that bookings are essential and may be made online or by phone.

Very good news for Australian Patient to access their medication by lowering general patient co-payment to $25 instead of $31.60 👏

🚨 NEWS: The government has listened to the Guild’s concerns for the 1 in 5 Australians skipping medication due to cost and has taken action to end the tough choices.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Minister for Health and Aged Care Mark Butler MP have announced a price reduction on all PBS medicines, bringing the maximum out-of-pocket cost for patients down from $31.60 to $25.

The new maximum price will benefit over 20 million patients who don't hold a health or concession card.
