Carmen’s gorgeous daughter recently graduated from our program. Here’s what she has to say:
“We were first introduced to ROKband through our then 5mo daughter’s physio and chiro as they had been treating her plagiocephaly and torticollis.
We figured having a baseline obligation-free scan would be beneficial to see how her headshape was with the work we were doing with the physio.
After the two scans, we made the decision to engage with ROKband for helmet therapy to work in conjunction with physiotherapy, in particular to correct her ear alignment.
We liked that with ROKband, the helmet is lighter weight and thinner, especially going into the summer months.
Overall, our daughter’s treatment has taken around 4 months. The improvement we have seen with her headshape has been phenomenal, she went from a moderate-severe ratio for her headshape to a much rounder shape and her ears are much more aligned.
The hotter months were at times challenging to manage with keeping her warm enough overnight but also cool enough to not overheat, however, she was an absolute trooper in wearing the helmet for the prescribed number of hours each day.
Mark and Bernadette have both been so lovely to work with, their warmth and friendly demeanours instantly help put anxious parents at ease.
We would not hesitate to recommend ROKband to other parents.”
