Breast Cancer awareness month, held annually in October, focusses on promoting education about breast health and the importance of early detection. This month serves as a reminder for individuals to perform regular self-examinations and seek professional screenings.
Its also a time to honour those affected by breast cancer – survivors, fighters and loved ones. October highlights the importance of ongoing research and advancements in treatment. Communities come together through events and campaigns, symbolised by the pink ribbon, to spread hope and raise funds for a future free of breast cancer.
