Exciting news! We have a new Paediatrician joining our practice from February. Dr Claire Nogic will be working on Mondays. Please call the clinic on 85785661 to enquire about appointments. See her bio below:
Claire is a Developmental Paediatrician, committed to providing personalised care that meets each child’s unique needs. She collaborates closely with families to create individualised care plans for each child.
Claire is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP), specialising in Community Child Health. She graduated with honours (MBBS (Hons)) from the University of Notre Dame Australia and completed her Paediatric training at the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. Claire is also completing a Master of Public Health.
Claire has experience in caring for children and adolescents with a variety of neurodevelopmental conditions. Her areas of interest include assessing and managing developmental delay, learning difficulties, intellectual disability, anxiety, ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She also has a particular interest in supporting children with sleep, toileting, and continence issues.
In her spare time, Claire enjoys going to the beach with her family and cycling.

We would like to wish all of our patients and their families a very safe a happy holiday season! We are now closed until 13th January, so we may also have a chance to rest and recharge before we return for another busy and fulfilling year at Stem in 2025. We would like to wish everyone a happy holidays! Our clinic is now closed until 8th January. May you all have time to rest and recharge. We certainly need to, after a very busy year! It has been so nice to remove the masks and bring the toys back out, with a bit of ‘normality’ back! We look forward to another wonderful, busy and fun year in 2024! 🎉🥂🍾

🚨School holidays are fast approaching! Don't forget to collect your child's adrenaline (epinephrine) injector from the school office on the last day of term so that you have it over the holiday break.

Allergic reactions are more likely to happen when you are out of routine – and Christmas holidays means we are all out of routine!

⏰ Set a reminder in your phone to return it on day one of Term 1, 2022 and to also check the expiry dates of your adrenaline injectors.

We find many people with food allergy put a lot of emphasis on their skin prick test. A larger reaction to a skin prick test does not mean the allergy is worse, or you will have a worse reaction.

It tells doctors you probably will react if it is above a certain size welt but whether the reaction is mild/moderate or severe depends on many other factors.
