Now Taking Enrolments: Teen Group Program at NLC Psychology!

We’re excited to launch the next round of our Building Your Neurodivergent Identity group – designed specifically for neurodivergent teens.

Starting Tuesday 29 July, this 5-week program offers teens the chance to explore their identity, connect with like-minded peers, and gain practical tools to navigate life with confidence.
💡 Open to self-identified or formally diagnosed Autistic/ADHD teens – no referral needed (pre-screening may apply).
Led by psychologist Alex Giles, the group runs:
📅 Tuesdays | 🕓 4:00–5:30pm
📍 NLC Psychology – 27 Unley Road, Malvern

We’ll cover:
✅ Understanding Autism & ADHD
✅ Emotional Regulation
✅ Energy Accounting
✅ Communication & Relationships

🧠✨ What an inspiring afternoon of learning and connection at our Malvern clinic last week!

Our latest professional development session brought together the teams from Move for Better Health, iNform Health & Fitness, AC Podiatry, and our NLC Psychology teams for a dynamic, multidisciplinary catch-up.

We started with a session led by Physiotherapist, Emil and NLC Psychologist, Patrick, who shared their knowledge around the NDIS and how we can better support participants through clearer communication and a deeper understanding of their goals. This sparked some great conversations about how we work across teams to make the NDIS process smoother for both clients and practitioners.

Patrick also guided us through an interactive activity that gave us new ways to think about how we communicate in letters and reports – something that’s relevant across all areas of allied health!

It was a valuable afternoon of collaboration and learning – we’re lucky to work alongside such passionate and knowledgeable teams! 💬🤝
