Yesterday, Finders Keepers WA celebrated Christmas with our wonderful participants, families, and carers in our brand-new office — and what a fantastic day it was! We enjoyed plenty of food, games, and singing, and had the chance to meet new people and build new friendships. What a great way to wrap up 2025!

🎄✨ Christmas Lights Launch at Rockingham Foreshore! ✨🎄

Rockingham Foreshore will come alive as we officially switch on the City’s magical Christmas lights display! Bring your friends and family for an evening filled with festive cheer and community fun.

🚣‍♀️ All Abilities Paddle Launch – Riverside Gardens, Greenfields 🌿

Experience the joy of paddling at the All Abilities Paddle Launch at Riverside Gardens, Greenfields. These sessions are specially designed for people with disability, along with their support workers and family members.

Try paddling a canoe or kayak in a safe and supportive environment, with a paddle guide on hand to assist. It’s a wonderful way to relax, connect with nature, and enjoy the waterways together.

All equipment is provided, and you can participate at your own pace. Accessible toilets and picnic spots are conveniently located nearby. If you need extra support in or around the water, please bring your own support person.

Join the Mandurah community on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, as we celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) — a global event that recognises and values the achievements, contributions, and rights of people with disability.

In Australia, IDPwD is a nationwide celebration. Local governments, schools, organisations, community groups, businesses, and individuals come together to create an inclusive and welcoming community for everyone.

This special event will feature:

So proud of Jake! Overcame all the nerves to sing in front of the entire Rockingham foreshore with a bustling market going! What an absolute champ! He has great ambitions of becoming a radio host and we can’t wait til we hear him across the airways! Well done Jake!
