A message from Coolibah Care CEO, Amanda Crook.
As we come to the close of another year, I’ve found myself reflecting, both professionally and personally.
This year, Coolibah Care continued to grow, with our workforce reaching 274 employees. That growth reflects the trust our community places in us and the strength of the services we provide.
We also said farewell to some long-serving and much-loved colleagues and welcomed many new faces who are already becoming part of the Coolibah Care story.
Earlier this year, I reached a personal milestone, 30 years as a registered nurse. It gave me opprtunity to pause and reflect on how much has changed in nursing over that time… and how much hasn’t.
What has always mattered most to me still comes down to three simple but powerful principles and I see them lived every day at Coolibah Care:
- Delivering the best care we can, every single day
- Working as a team that supports and lifts one another
- Building genuine relationships with residents, clients, colleagues, and families
I feel incredibly privileged to be part of this organisation and this community.
As we wrap up the year, I want to say thank you to the Coolibah Care team for the kindness, resilience, humour, and unwavering commitment to those we care for. You truly are the heart of what we do.
