Fighters/martial artists know better than most what its like when you gas out and fatigue to the point exhaustion but most don't know that it is your breathing that dictates this more than anything else, if your breathing is inefficient and breathing muscles are weak your point of fatigue will all ways come sooner than you are capable of. Training your respiratory system is possibly the most over looked aspect in all of sports and activities and yet it is without a doubt the most important.

You can go weeks without food, days without water but only minutes without breath. In all sports it won't matter how fit, strong or mentally tough you are, when you gas out you are done. Therefore it should be obvious to us how important it is to train our breathing system.

Just like the rest of the body we can train ourselves using breathing techniques and exercises to strengthen the breathing muscles and increase the efficiency of oxygen delivery to the body and brain resulting in much improved health and performance in your given activity.

Training your respiratory system is possibly the most over looked aspect in all of sports and activities and yet it is without a doubt the most important.
