Murray Medical Centre Murray Medical Centre Mandurah has been providing quality family healthcare for over 60 years to Mandurah and the surrounding community.

MMC offers extensive services to new and existing patients and is conveniently located near Peel Health Campus at 34-36 Minilya Parkway, Mandurah. MMC features 25 Primary Health Physicians, Specialists and Allied Health Professionals as well as treatment room facilities with a dedicated rostered Doctor. There is currently on-site Pathology, Pharmacy, Podiatry, Psychology, Dietitian, a Diabetic Educator to complement the services offered at MMC. MMC Mandurah offer GP after hours and on the day appointments and are open 7 days a week

Weโ€™re excited to welcome Dr Abel Boon and Dr Sin Hui Ng to the team at Murray Medical Centre.

Both are UK-trained GPs who have now made Mandurah their home. Dr Boon has a special interest in menโ€™s health and musculoskeletal conditions, while Dr Ng has a strong interest in dermatology and geriatric health.

Both doctors speak Mandarin and Malay, and Dr Ng also speaks Cantonese, allowing them to better support patients who prefer to consult in these languages.

Weโ€™re pleased to welcome Dr Rachael Stephen as our new GP trainee.

Rachael is a proud West Australian with experience across Perth hospitals, caring for both adults and children. She has a strong interest in holistic, personalised care, with a particular focus on womenโ€™s health, paediatrics, preventative health, and end-of-life care.

As the new year begins, it also marks a new chapter for our GP trainees.

We are sad to say goodbye to Dr Ashenden and Dr Woolfenden, who have been wonderful members of our team during their time with us. Their dedication, professionalism, and care for patients have made a real difference, and they will be greatly missed by both staff and patients alike.

We thank them for their contribution to our practice and wish them every success as they continue their GP training and careers. Once part of the MMC family, always part of the MMC family. We hope to see them again in the future.

We are proud to share that ๐ƒ๐ซ ๐…๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ค ๐‰๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ฌ has been awarded the ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“ ๐‘๐จ๐ฌ๐ž-๐‡๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ ๐€๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ โ€” the highest honour bestowed by the RACGP.

This award recognises outstanding service to general practice through dedication to patient care, leadership, education, research, and the ongoing promotion of the values of the RACGP. It is reserved for those whose contribution has shaped the profession for decades, or who have made a substantial and lasting impact in a shorter time.

Dr Jonesโ€™ GP career spans more than 45 years, covering service as a Royal Flying Doctor, proceduralist GP obstetrician, and long-standing advocate for the profession. He served as ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‘๐€๐‚๐†๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’, contributing nationally to the advancement of general practice.

For the past ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽ ๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ฌ, Dr Jones has been at the heart of Murray Medical Centre โ€” as a doctor, practice owner, supervisor, teacher, and mentor to generations of GPs. His commitment to high-quality, compassionate care has shaped the culture of our practice and the health of our community.
