Tummy time is important for your baby’s development.

For many babies, tummy time feels challenging because it requires strength they’re still building.

Others may feel uncomfortable due to reflux, pressure through the tummy, or tension through the neck and shoulders.

If your baby consistently dislikes tummy time, it can be helpful to look a little deeper. Sometimes underlying tension or restriction can make it harder (and less enjoyable) for them.

✨ Try:
– Short, frequent sessions
– Getting down at their level
– Using your chest or lap instead of the floor

If your baby consistently avoids or becomes very upset during tummy time, it can be worth getting them checked. Assessing how they’re moving, their comfort, and any areas of tension can help support them to tolerate it better.
