Medical Receptionist Position Available
Mandurah Medical Centre is an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team.
Part-Time 16 hours per week as follow:
- Thursdays 8AM-4PM
- Fridays 8AM-4PM
Availability and flexibility to cover annual leave & sick leave is essential.
In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our medical practice. With a focus on administrative duties and patient coordination, this position is key to delivering high-quality care to our patients.
What you'll be doing
• Greeting and checking in patients, both in person and on the phone
• Scheduling and managing patient appointments
• Generating and billing patient accounts
• Scanning and faxing documentation
• Maintaining accurate patient records and medical files
• Handling patient enquiries and addressing any concerns
• Assisting with general office administration tasks
What we're looking for
• Previous experience as a medical receptionist
• Experience with Best Practice software will be highly regarded
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems
• A friendly, professional, and empathetic demeanour
• A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
• A positive and motivated attitude
