I am so proud to say my mother was the pioneer of Colonic irrigation in Australia. She was ahead of her time.
I am so grateful for having the legacy of a really entrepreneurial brillant mother. In the late 1970's she went to America to learn from Dr De Wells, a Gastroenterologist who invented the hydroxy colon therapy because he saw such a need for the therapy in overcoming severe bowel problems with his patients. He was revolutionary in his time . Mum consequently returning with 2 machines to WA, started her business Colonic Irrigation and Nutritional therapy in Colon Street West Perth. Mum never minced with words. She told people about their health and what they needed whether they liked it or not. LOL
In the early 80s mum trained me and I regularly helped her out doing colonics when she was busy. I still have people come to my clinic today who had colonics from mum.
