Welcome to Djeran.

As the seasons turn, we acknowledge Djeran, a time of change. It is a season that invites reflection, connection, and respect for the knowledge held in the Noongar six seasons.

At Oseca, we honour the cultural wisdom of Country and the deep significance of these seasonal transitions for community, wellbeing, and connection.

We welcome Djeran with respect and gratitude.

πŸ‘‰ Important Community Information
There have been some recent funding changes to some of our Aboriginal health services at Nidjalla Waangan Mia and we’ll be hosting a Community Sausage Sizzle at NWM in the coming weeks.
This will be a relaxed opportunity to catch up, share updates, ask questions, and have a yarn about any concerns you may have.

We welcome Bunuru, the season of the Second Summer. πŸŒŠβ˜€οΈ
A time of hot easterly winds, clear skies, coastal living and abundant sea life. Bunuru reminds us to slow down, stay connected to Country, and care for one another through the hottest months of the year.

Inviting the women in our community to join a new SMART Recovery group at Nidjalla Waangan Mia.
This yarn is being run in collaboration with Palmerston Association and Oseca, and offers a safe, practical space for women to come together, talk through what’s going on, and learn tools to support change around alcohol or other drug use, gambling, or any behaviours that are becoming hard to manage. The group focuses on setting small goals, sharing ideas and learning tools that can help day to day.
