Inviting the women in our community to join a new SMART Recovery group at Nidjalla Waangan Mia.

This yarn is being run in collaboration with Palmerston Association and Oseca, and offers a safe, practical space for women to come together, talk through what’s going on, and learn tools to support change around alcohol or other drug use, gambling, or any behaviours that are becoming hard to manage. The group focuses on setting small goals, sharing ideas and learning tools that can help day to day.

What an incredible day at our NAIDOC Expo 2025 yesterday.

Our community came together in a strong and meaningful way, filling the space with connection, culture and plenty of smiles. We shared a sausage sizzle and coffee, and the kids were thrilled with the face painting and a visit from a couple of very cute joeys.

Thank you to Mandurah WholeLife Pharmacy & Healthfoods for donating our raffle hamper of health items. Your support is genuinely appreciated by our community.

Big appreciation to our team for pulling everything together. The day was full of positive energy and good laughter, reminding us of the strength we have when we come together, celebrate and walk alongside one another. A great day for everyone involved.

Today we marked R U OK? Day by setting up a booth to share resources and information with our community. It was a chance to highlight the importance of starting conversations, staying connected, and checking in with those around us.

We made a range of R U OK? guides, booklets and tools available so that everyone could feel more confident in asking the question and offering support.

R U OK? Day is a reminder that every conversation counts, and any day is the right day to check in.
