Wise Women Workshop – Yoga for Perimenopause/Menopause

There are many seasons of a women’s life each with their own joys, themes and challenges. This yoga workshop will explore the perimenopause/menopause journey in a safe, supportive, and empowering environment. The focus for this session is on perimenopause/menopause anxiety and overwhelm that can arise. Together we will explore yoga tools, journaling and other resources that can support us in this transitory time. We come together as women to create a beautiful space for sharing, learning and healing.

Being a woman is a wonderful experience but often fluctuating hormones and energy levels can leave us feeling exhausted, edgy and less than glowing. This workshop will explore traditional chinese medicine concepts and yoga techniques to support and nurture a women during her cycle. If you are interested in expanding on your knowledge in this area to feel more empowered and attuned to your natural rhythms then please join us on Saturday, 1 October 2-4.30pm. The workshop will involve some theory, some workshopped asana, pranayama and meditation. Bring your glasses, comfortable yoga clothes, something to write with and an inquisitive spirit. A journey into Self-Compassionate
We invite you to come join us on a journey of cultivating self-compassion towards yourself. Self-compassion entails being kind and understanding toward ourselves when we fail, feel inadequate, or suffer rather than suppressing our pain or being highly critical of ourselves. Self-compassion practices have been found to produce a number of benefits, including lower levels of anxiety and depression. The workshop will be run in two parts. The first session will explore breath & meditative practices for cultivating self-compassion. The second session will explore yoga asanas and mindset/toning to cultivate feelings of self-compassion.
