The Grave of Seath Mor Sgorfhiaclach

Seath Mor Sgorfhiaclach was a 14th century chief of the Clan Shaw. Tradition has it that he was a formidable warrior, over 6 feet tall and with a crooked grin that would strike terror into the hearts of even his own people.

The tomb of this mighty warrior lies in a secluded area of the ancient forest of Rothiemurchus. But, he is apparently quite active even in death - Seath Mor has been seen on many occasions by many different people in the area of his tomb, which has five cheese shaped stones lying on top of it.

His spirit is said to appear to travellers who wander too deep into the forest, challenging them to do battle. People who have survived the encounters say that if you show fear or run away like a coward, you will never be heard from again. However, if you remain calm and accept the challenge, the ghostly chieftain disappears and will leave you in peace. It's also advised to keep a safe distance from the tomb due to another entity being present - the guardian spirit of the tomb taking the form of Bodach an Duin - an elf-like spirit who has a terrible temper.

Remember those five stones atop the tomb - in the 19th century a walker passing the area is said to have thrown one of the circular tomb stones into the River Spey. The next day locals found that the stone had been placed back on the tomb, but the walker was found dead in the nearby river. The stones on the grave are now beneath a metal cage to deter anyone moving them.

Iced Turmeric Lemonade Recipe
Refreshing iced turmeric lemonade combines earthy and bright turmeric with fresh lemon and natural sweetness for a delicious summer drink.

Ingredients

2 cups water
1 ½ cups ice
½ cup lemon juice (fresh, or to taste)
1-2 tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp stevia extract (or to taste, or other natural sweetener of choice)
1 tiny pinch black pepper
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend for 60 seconds or until ice is completely blended.
Let rest for about 30 seconds before pouring into cups to serve. I prefer to serve over more ice.
Consume immediately.
Notes
If you won't consume all of this at once, make smaller batches by cutting the recipe in half or even fourths. I prefer to use stevia to keep the sugar content down, but any natural sweetener like maple syrup or honey will work well in this recipe.
You can also make this with lime juice (same amount as lemon juice) or orange juice (double the juice and reduce the water by 1/2 cup).
Caution: Turmeric does stain surfaces.

Tuesday is our next full moon. Get ready to make moon water. Get a clear, clean, glass bottle with a lid. Boil some water (or you can use filtered). Alow it to cool. Tomorrow fill your bottle with the water, put on the lid and then leave outside under the gaze of the full moon. In the morning you will have moon water.

Moon water is used in Witchcraft and can be used to enhance crystal water.
