🧼 Felted Soap Workshop

Where creativity meets calm — and soap becomes art.

Ever tried washing your hands with a rainbow?
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll guide you through wrapping soft merino wool around handmade soap to create a beautiful, natural exfoliating bar that lasts longer and feels amazing.

Each layer of colour tells a story — of texture, warmth, and mindfulness. As the fibres fuse, you’ll find yourself slowing down, breathing deeper, and watching something ordinary become extraordinary.

“For Those Still Learning to Breathe” 🦋

For those of us who came from chaos —
who grew gardens out of rubble,
who learned love by surviving what wasn’t,
and who still sometimes flinch at peace —
this is for you.

Safety doesn’t come naturally to souls that have fought to exist.
We learned to scan rooms, read faces, brace for storms.
So when the world finally goes quiet,
our bodies don’t always know what to do with the calm.

But here — in this space built from lived experience —
we get to practice.
We get to sit in sunlight and not apologise for staying.
We get to look at our flowers and whisper,
“It’s okay now. You’re allowed to rest.”

Because growth doesn’t always look like striving.
Sometimes it’s just the gentle exhale of realising
you already have what you were chasing.

Right now is enough.
We are enough.
And that is the revolution —
to stand here, still breathing,
and call it peace. 🌿

🌿 The Mindshift Hub — Where We Learn Real Tools That Actually Work

There are days I don’t cope.
But what gets me through are the same tools we practice together here — tools that help us ride the wave, not drown in it.

Here are just a few of the skills we use and build on together:

💧 TIPP — learning to cool the body and calm the mind.
🔥 Move It Out — releasing energy through movement, music, or creativity.
🌪️ Opposite Action — doing the opposite of what the emotion wants, and watching how that changes everything.
🌸 Grounding Through the Senses — coming back to now through what we can see, hear, touch, smell, and taste.
🪞 Check the Facts — separating what’s real from what our emotions tell us.
🌻 Build Mastery — one of the biggest ones we use at The Hub — doing small, meaningful things that remind us we’re capable.
🌈 Positive Experiences — intentionally creating moments of peace, joy, and purpose, no matter how small.

And there are so many more you can learn and make your own.

🦋 Starting in November, join us on Fridays at The Mindshift Hub for workshops that are real, practical, and built from lived experience.
Together, we’ll grow stronger, steadier, and more connected — one skill, one day, one breath at a time.

Some days, survival is the win.
It’s not about thriving, glowing, or being okay — it’s about opening your eyes, taking a breath, and deciding to face the world one more time, even when it still hurts.

That’s not weakness. That’s courage.
That’s lived experience — in motion.
And that’s where The Mindshift Hub was born… from the cracks we refused to hide. From the pain we turned into purpose. From the stories that no longer silence us — they strengthen us.

🌿 VULNERABILITY 🌿

It’s not weakness — it’s truth in motion.
It’s the heartbeat before the healing.
The moment your walls shake, your voice trembles, and you whisper, “I’m still here.”

Being vulnerable means showing up when it would be easier to hide.
It’s how we grow.
It’s how the light gets in.
It’s where courage is born.

Let this be a reminder: your softness is strength.
Your cracks are sacred.
And your willingness to be seen — even when it hurts — is where awakening begins. 💙

💛 Emotional First Aid – A Tool for the Days We Feel Stuck

Sometimes we don’t even notice we’re running on survival.
We react out of habit, not intention.
We withdraw, lash out, or shut down — not because we’re broken, but because it’s how our brain learned to protect us.

We self-sabotage when:
🌀 We don’t have the right skills yet.
💔 We’ve spent years walking on eggshells.
🧠 Our nervous system doesn’t feel safe enough to slow down.
💬 We don’t know how to name what’s happening inside us.
💭 Or we’ve carried guilt, fear, or rejection for so long that it became familiar.

That’s not weakness. That’s survival.

This visual — Emotional First Aid — reminds us that emotions need care just like physical wounds do.
When we learn how to tend to those “emotional fractures,” “bruises,” and “scabs,” we stop the cycle of bleeding on people who didn’t cut us.
We begin to respond instead of react.
We start healing from the inside out.

You don’t have to fix everything at once — just start noticing.
Notice your triggers.
Notice your patterns.
Notice that every time you choose awareness instead of autopilot, that is healing.

Here’s one tool that helps — learning emotional first aid.
It’s not about pretending to be okay.
It’s about learning how to take care of your mind the same way you’d take care of a wound.
