Today our team came together to pack essential care hampers for Nexus Care Brisbane, helping to support individuals and families facing hardship in our local area.

It was a practical, hands-on way to live out our mission of creating thriving communities — giving our team the chance to step away from their day-to-day responsibilities and make a direct, personal contribution to those in need.

Nexus Care plays a vital role in walking alongside people during challenging times, offering practical help, dignity, and hope when it's needed most. We’re proud to support their work and be part of that impact.

Our team gathered for a cross-department update, and it was inspiring to hear about the progress happening across the group. The Gosford Health Hub is well underway, alongside several other exciting projects here in South East Queensland. The MyLocalDoc Network continues to thrive and expand with new clinics on the way and the recent refurbishment of our Rocklea clinic. Simon also shared valuable insights from his recent trip to Harvard for part two of his business course, leaving us all motivated and energized.
A key part of the group's ethos is centered around creating thriving communities, with a strong commitment to giving back and supporting those less fortunate. It was uplifting to hear from the Cornerstone Life team about the many opportunities coming up this year, both locally and abroad, for our staff to contribute to these initiatives. We are eager to continue making a positive impact and helping those in need, furthering our mission of community transformation. With the 20th anniversary of the group ahead, it's shaping up to be another remarkable year—exciting times are on the horizon!

🏗️ Demountable Relocation Success | Carmichael College Project

The relocation of the demountable buildings from Mueller College to Carmichael College is now complete! 🎉 Despite facing considerable challenges with the weather 🌧️, our team showed incredible dedication and teamwork to ensure the project stayed on track.

These buildings will now provide much-needed space for students and staff at Carmichael College, supporting their continued growth and excellence in education.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for your hard work, resilience, and commitment to getting the job done.

🎄 On Saturday, we celebrated our Group Christmas party, bringing together colleagues from across the group for a fantastic afternoon of food, fun, and mini golf (which some took very seriously). We’ll never hear the end of that downhill hole-in-one on the back nine from a certain Health and Safety Officer.😜 🎉

✨ A special congratulations to Sir Cash on an incredible milestone—15 years with the group. What an amazing achievement! 👏

Yesterday, our team came together for our regular all-in gathering to share updates across the group. We were fortunate to have Mark Northern lead a professional development session, bringing his wealth of experience as a property executive and Chartered Accountant. With over 30 years of international expertise, Mark has driven growth and managed large-scale projects during his time as General Manager at Westfield and Scentre Group.

Mark’s passion for building strong teams and helping organizations gain clarity in their strategy truly stood out. As Cornerstone continues to grow and integrate our business units, his insights on strategy, operations, and team dynamics offer a fresh perspective on aligning our goals and strengthening collaboration.

We’re thrilled to have Mark guiding us in refining our core strategy and enhancing how we work together as a unified group. Exciting times ahead!

🎁✨ Operation Christmas Child – Bringing Joy to Children in Need! ✨🎁

Today, our Cornerstone team came together for an incredible cause: packing day for Operation Christmas Child by Samaritan’s Purse. We’ve pledged to fill 300 shoeboxes for children in vulnerable communities worldwide, bringing a little extra joy to boys and girls aged 5-9.

These shoeboxes are packed with love and filled with essential items like school supplies, personal care items, and gifts that make a real difference. It's a small gesture from us, but it can mean the world to a child with very little. 💕🌍

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time and effort today. Your generosity will bring smiles and hope to so many kids this holiday season. Let’s keep spreading the love and making an impact together! 🎄🌟
