Did you know we’re open from 6am Tuesday to Friday?
Our early morning appointments (6am–7.45am) are classed as “out of hours.” While the fee is slightly higher, the Medicare rebate is also higher - meaning your out-of-pocket cost is actually less than during standard hours!
That means you’ll be $3.25 better off booking early.
Fees & Rebates:
• Early Morning (6am–8am): $100 fee - $57.15 rebate = $42.85 out of pocket
• Standard Hours (8am–6pm): $95 fee - $43.90 rebate = $46.10 out of pocket
Please note: Early morning appointments are privately billed only (no bulk billing or concession rates).
Available Tuesday–Friday, 6am–7.45am.

We’re proud to be a registered provider with MyMedicare – a new program by the Australian Government designed to support better continuity of care and unlock enhanced Medicare benefits for patients like you.

What is MyMedicare?
MyMedicare lets you nominate our clinic as your regular healthcare provider. It’s free, completely voluntary, and available to anyone with a Medicare or DVA Veteran Card.

📣 Important Update: Changes to Our Billing Policy from 1 July 2025 📣
Dear Valued Patients,
From 1 July 2025, there will be a modest increase to our consultation fees. This change reflects the increasing costs of providing high-quality healthcare.
Why Are Fees Increasing?
🏥 Rising Costs of Providing Care
Like many businesses, we are experiencing significant increases in the cost of:
• Staff wages (including nurses and administrative team members)
• Medical supplies and equipment
• Rent, utilities, insurance, and technology systems
💳 Medicare Rebate Increases Are Not Keeping Up
While Medicare rebates have been slightly indexed, they continue to fall short of covering the true cost of care. For example, the Medicare rebate for a standard consultation (Item 23) from 1 July 2025 is $43.90, which does not cover the full cost of a GP consultation.
🚫 Why Bulk Billing Is Unsustainable
We understand the importance of accessible healthcare. However, continuing to bulk bill all patients is no longer financially sustainable if we are to maintain the quality of care, adequate staffing levels, and long appointment times that our patients deserve.
What This Means for You
• Private billing will apply to most patients from 1 July 2025.
• Children under 16 will continue to be bulk billed Mon-Fri 8am-6pm
• Eligible patients may still be bulk billed at the doctor's discretion (e.g. aged pensioners & concession card holders).
• Our reception team will be happy to explain any changes to fees and rebates before your appointment.

We are still awaiting our delivery of the Qld health flu vaccines for under 5 years and medically indicated 5 to 64 years. This is the update we received from Qld Health today.

I can see your vaccine order is still in the process to be delivered and it’s not onboard for delivery today.

The Queensland Health Immunisation Program (QHIP) is experiencing a temporary increase in the number of vaccine orders being received, which is resulting in longer than expected delivery timeframes. Our distribution team are working through a back log of deliveries due to public holidays and the huge number of orders being processed.

Please feel free to email QHIP again tomorrow and we can check the status of your order.
