It's not always obvious when someone is struggling.

That's why it's important to check in with all those we care about, even the ones who always have a smile on their face.

Thanks for this important reminder Liz and Mollie.

If you ask why we advocate for men as strongly as we do, just take a look at this sign. This appears in a breast center in Florida. When men have to enter, they need to go down the hall through a custodial closet, and in a back door to receive their mammograms. Ask yourself, is this fair? Let’s put an end to the gender bias that exists in the breast cancer community.

Terrible things happen to the nicest people. As a physician, I have known this to be true my entire career and have seen it play out again and again. Sudden accidents, cancer, addiction, su***de, pregnancy loss, chronic pain. There are so many reasons for a kind, wonderful person or loving family to...

Care Partners are incredible people. They give selflessly of themselves and their time. Very often they neglect themselves along the way and stress in silence. We are proud to launch our brand new MBCGA Care Partner Network. This is a private Facebook group dedicated to male breast cancer care partners. Giving them a place to ask the questions and get the support from fellow care partners who are walking the same path. If you are interested in joining, please let us know.

Just got the “all clear” from a CT scan about a week ago. Did’nt find any cancer, or problems.
Had a blood test and my CEA were fine, but my C19.9 had jumped from 10, 2 years ago to 30. Marker for Cancer or inflamation somewhere. They could not find anything from the CT, so just redo the blood test in a few weeks and see where it sits. Maybe the inflamtion from a compressed fracture in spine, don’t know.
Just GREAT news NO CANCER FOUND.
