Reviews like this remind us why we do what we do.

This patient came to us 13 months post–motorbike accident, feeling stuck and unsure of the next step. After a couple of sessions with Paul, they’re now feeling hopeful, supported and finally seeing meaningful change in their recovery journey.

At AAC, our focus is always on providing a clear plan, consistent care and a space where patients feel seen, heard and encouraged throughout the process!

Dry needling and acupuncture often look the same — because in many ways, they are. Both use the same fine needles and target muscles and tissues to shift pain and tension.

The real difference?
🧠 Training & depth. Acupuncturists complete years of university study in anatomy, physiology, Chinese medicine theory, pathology and clinical practice.
🎓 Regulation. Acupuncture is a nationally registered profession with strict standards for safety, skill and ongoing education.
🤲 Holistic approach. Acupuncture considers the entire body, not just the symptom.

So while the techniques may appear similar, the background, framework and expertise behind acupuncture run much deeper!

🎥 Why Do We Check Your Pulse?

When you come in for acupuncture, one of the first things we do is check your pulse — but not just to count your heart rate! 👀

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, pulse diagnosis gives us a window into your internal health. Each pulse position on your wrist tells us about different organs and how your body’s energy (Qi), blood, and fluids are flowing ⛲️🩸

We’re feeling for qualities like strength, rhythm, depth, and texture — all of which help guide your treatment and give us clues about things like stress, digestion, sleep, and hormonal balance.

It’s subtle, powerful, and one of the many ways we personalise your care 🌸🌿

Precision in Slow Motion!

There’s something so calming about watching the moment a pin lands with accuracy and intention. In pain management, every point is chosen with purpose — and sometimes the smallest points make the biggest difference in how the body feels and functions.

Slowing it down lets you see the focus, the technique, and the art behind the process!

Here at AAC, every patient receives a clear, structured treatment plan — but never a one-size-fits-all approach.

A “typical” plan helps you understand what to expect, but your plan is always tailored to you: your pain, your goals, your lifestyle, and how your body responds along the way. 🌿

We assess, adjust, and refine at each visit to make sure you’re receiving the most effective care for your unique needs.

Your healing journey is personal — and so is your plan 🌸
